My Gear
The next pages are dedicated to my gear. My small collection of flight jackets and other pilot gear and all the other stuff I either own, like to own or just like. The flight jackets are replicas because originals in my size are almost impossible to find and prohibitively expensive if they can be found at all.
I started my collection with a Roughwear Clothing 1401p A-2. My plan was to stay with leather jackets and my second one was an M-422a, the predecessor to the G-1. But after that I became equally interested in early nylon jackets. So the collection spans from 1938 to 1956. 1956 being the year of the first issue of the MA-1.
